Quote and Close
for Windows 3.x, 95 and NT

For LAPTOPS or DESKTOPS, stand alone or networked

Quote and Close is ideal for the traveling salesperson that needs to keep track of its customers, quotations, sales and inventory. The software can run on a salesperson's laptop, or can run on the main office network. Q&C files are completely compatible with TIM or TOM. You may simply create your inventory data in the office, copy the datafile on your laptop and use it.
Quote & Close produces good looking quotations on plain paper or on fax (faxmodem required). Quotes can be copied, modified, and revised at will. When the order comes in, a quotation can become a firm order at the push of a button. Q&C combines the ease of Windows with a consistent user interface.

The program uses the same ten control buttons in every screen, to minimize training and maximize productivity. Complete integration with unmatched ease of use.

FEATURES

Six styles of quotations out of the box: 3 with totals, and 3 "budgetary" quotations without totals.
Full compatibility of the data files with TIM and TOM.
Customer, Supplier, Contacts and Inventory records. Each record has a Notes/Comments field whose text is searchable. You can easily find all the occurrences of the word "COMDEX" in the notes.
Firm orders, with backorders. Each line may have 2 taxes (GST/PST for Canada) or 1 tax (US). The extra long description, stored in the notes, can be automatically copied into the body of the Quotation, Sales or Purchase Order.
Invoices can be viewed and re-printed AS YOU NEED THEM, either to the screen, or to plain paper on laser printers.
Laser printed labels.
Print an envelope for the customer you are quoting. On a laser printer, it will prompt you to feed one envelope through the manual feed, and then revert to standard paper handling.
Handles both Canadian and US taxes (Quebec too!). Taxes can be "EXTRA" or "INCLUDED".
Import and Export in several different formats such as DIF, Lotus, DBF, Comma Delimited, TAB Delimited, etc.
